Project Manager
Cedar Valley Steel is in search of a Project Manager for their Cedar Rapids location. The PM develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified. The PM provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members to promote the interest of both the business and clients in all matters. They are the primary leader for the construction project.

Responsibilities
- Establish and perform job processes, including submitting pay applications, RFI’s, submittals, and negotiating change orders
- Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics
- Manage the closeout process efficiently
- Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project
- Experience in commercial construction
- Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to run multiple jobs
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and updating construction project-related drawings
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Take initiative and seek responsibility
- Demonstrate integrity with strong core values
- Seek continuous improvement of knowledge and abilities
- Approach all situations with a customer service oriented attitude
- Sustain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships
